Exploring New Methods
We're constantly experimenting with materials and techniques, from 3D printing to traditional craft, to discover what's possible when technology and handwork intersect.
Design with Purpose
Every piece we create balances aesthetics with utility. Beautiful objects should enhance daily life, not just sit on a shelf.
Made Right
We believe in taking the time to get details right. From concept to final piece, quality craftsmanship guides every decision we make.
From Idea to Object
At Pentograph, every project starts with curiosity about what's possible. We work across 3D printing, woodworking, glass, and ceramics because the best solution isn't always found in a single material or technique.
Our Seattle studio handles design, fabrication, and finishing in-house. This means we can experiment freely, iterate quickly, and maintain quality control from concept to completion. Whether we're creating a small batch of planters or a large-scale architectural installation, the approach is the same: thoughtful design, skilled execution, attention to detail.
The Pentograph team brings together designers, fabricators, and makers with expertise across multiple materials and techniques. Every project benefits from this range of skills and perspectives.
We make things that work better and last longer. Our products solve real problems with clean design and honest materials.
Jennifer brings decades of design leadership to Pentograph. With her day job also including owning and practicing architecture & interior design with Grayscale Design Studio. She is rooted in the belief that great design lives at the intersection of bold ideas and deep material knowledge, and that the best work happens when a team is empowered to push past the expected. At Pentograph, she channels that instinct into objects that are as considered in their making as they are in their presence.
Phirak is a designer whose work sits at the edge of what materials can do when traditional craft meets digital process. After earning his master's in architecture, he joined Emerging Objects at UC Berkeley as a production specialist and was part of the team that developed the 3D Potterbot clay printer. He has also co-taught at Pilchuck Glass School, and it shows: his approach to fabrication is less about replication and more about finding what only this material, in this moment, can do.
Spencer is an experienced industrial designer, bringing years of expertise to the Pentograph team. Spencer graduated from the University of Washington with an Industrial Design degree and has worked for several notable design companies in the Seattle area. He is a key part of the team designing, prototyping, and developing new products alongside Jennifer and Phirak.
